I always like trying to pick out the newbies at the casinos, who thinks they can tell the signs of someone brand new to the tables?

Nothing wrong with newbies at all! I was a newbie once, it's just always good when you can start to see how you've developed and you can see other people doing mistakes you used to do. Its sometimes helpful when other people point things out that they've seen and you might take away as a tip not to do next time you sit down at the tables.

Well if you can pick out noobs from the table and you can determine who doesn't know what they are doing really or they aren't too good.... You can make a lot of money.

But how to determine a noob? Geez. I guess you should first see how they play.I mean it's hard to read in a person's brain.

You can do mind telepathy but it's hard to learn that.

My suggestion to see how much they bet, how much they win. Watch like 3-4 people at the sametime with a couple of friends at the casino.

See how much they win, how much they bet, how they play, facial expressions...

is their posture low? Are they nervous? Are they confident?

How do they talk? Do they talk like they know what they are doing.?

The quiet ones, who don't talk much, don't relax, look nervous and seem unsure all the time... is the table you want to go to!

But in your question, you aren't asking to set someone up... But those are the hints and clues... It's very easy to tell when someone doesn't know their way around.

You can always tell the new kid at school, same thing in a casino. Online maybe tougher.

Online I guess you could use the online chat feature in the casino to ask them questions and see whet there responeses are.

Watching how much they are betting probably won't help as people can be very experienced and still bet small, or be new and bet masive.

I would look at how fast they are making decisions, if they make them very fast and the decisions are good ones then they will have experience.

Although with
poker it's not that striaght forward as people are constantly trying to trick you, I always take exactly the same amount of time to make decisions in poker so they don't know if I'm new or experienced until I am walking away with their money

Another thing to look at is the decisions they make, so say your in a bj or casino floor free roll, in effect the other players are against you, and knowing who is new or otherwise could help you.

So if someone is always hitting when they have 17 and the dealer has 6 then they are obviously brand new or dumb as hell

Reading again can be difficult...

It's not easy to read someone for just a couple of seconds.

Another cool way to set some1 up is to gamble on a table where people are REALLY drunk...

Yeah, those are some pretty good observations, I think you probably could make a lot of money at
poker from looking for those body language queues, as well as the betting strategies, or lack of! Of course, someone could be playing along to that roll just to throw people off when in fact they've got a lot of strategy and know what they're doing!

I do believe that it is better for beginners to join with the rookies since you have most of the advantages in the table. The first advantage is the power of beginner's luck. Don't underestimate the power of beginner's luck cause I've seen this many times already. Another advantage of this is being a beginner challenging a rookie would be in favor for beginners since it they were harder to predict.
